Another feature new to Windows is the ability to be able to display clocks (or times) for different time zones all over the world on your taskbar without the need to install additional software. The great thing about this feature is that it doesn’t require a constant internet connection. In this tutorial I will show you how to add up to two additional clocks to your Vista taskbar.
Note
Before continuing please read our terms of use by clicking here.
Start
• Left Click the clock on your taskbar once.
• A dialog containing the date, calendar and an analogue clock will display, at the bottom of this there will be a link, ‘Change date and time settings…’. Click this link.
• The date and time dialog will now display. From the three tabs across the top of the window select the ‘Additional Clocks’ tab.
• You will now see that the dialog is divided into two section both with a checkbox labelled ‘Show this clock’. To add your first additional clock put a check in the first checkbox.
• Now click on the drop down list and select a time zone you wish to display, for example I chose Central America’s time to be displayed on my second clock.
• Then give your clock a display in the text box below.
• To add another clock follow the steps from steps 4 to 7 for the second section in the dialog.
