BlackSite Area 51 *2 DVD9* MULTI5

This is my personal review:

This sure is one of the FPS of the year. As soon as you visit this amazing world you will figure that out. The beasts look pretty, the controls are tremendous and everything runs smooth.

Gamespot review:

Currently scheduled for release in November, BlackSite: Area 51 is a contemporary squad-based first-person shooter with a sci-fi twist befitting the titular location in and around which much of its action takes place. We've had plenty of opportunities to see BlackSite's campaign during its development, but it wasn't until last week that we were afforded an opportunity to check out any of the game's multiplayer features. BlackSite: Area 51 supports up to 10 players online, and boasts capture-the-flag and "abduction" modes of play, in addition to the requisite deathmatch and team deathmatch options.

Before jumping into any multiplayer contests proper, we were given a guided tour of one of BlackSite's multiplayer maps, where we had an opportunity to try out all of the different weapons and power-ups in the game's arsenal. There will be a total of 10 multiplayer maps available, consisting of eight that are taken from the campaign and two that are designed specifically for capture the flag but which can also be used in other modes. The arsenal includes a good assortment of conventional and unusual weapons, so in addition to a pistol, an assault rifle, a sniper rifle, and a rocket launcher, you'll be playing with (presumably alien or experimental) plasma rifles and scatter guns. You can carry only two weapons at a time, and your movement speed will vary quite considerably depending on which one you're actually using. Power-ups positioned in strategic locations on each map include 100 extra armor points, a damage magnifier, and a stealth pickup that--based on our experiences of it to date--doesn't make you nearly as invisible as you might expect.

Soldier of Fortune 3: Payback

My personal review:

This game is a very good FPS, although it can't compete with the very recent Crysis! But for the fans of the series or even for the fans of the FPS gaming, this is also a good choice to spend some time with. Just play it for fun.

Gemespot review:

If you've been fiending for a new Soldier of Fortune game since the release of 2002's disturbingly violent Double Helix, Activision is finally here with more gore. The company just recently announced the next Soldier of Fortune, Payback, and surprisingly, the game is already planned for release in November. Veterans of the previous two games may also be surprised that franchise creator Raven Software isn't making Payback, at least not directly; that duty has fallen to an Activision Value studio located in Slovakia. But Raven and a number of other internal Activision studios, including Treyarch and Call of Duty maker Infinity Ward, are said to be contributing some technology and input to the game's development.

Regardless of who's making Payback, it has all the hallmarks of the Soldier of Fortune series. You've got your real-world weaponry, your story of international turmoil and intrigue, and, of course, an ultradetailed dismemberment model that lets you blow the arms, legs, and heads off of your scores of opponents with deadly aplomb. In fact, the new engine can model the break points on enemies' bodies with greater detail than Raven's old GHOUL system used in Double Helix.

Silent Hill 3

My personal review:

This is an old game but a classic so it deserves all our respect and even now it is a good game to be played. Not only for the fans of the silent Hill series but also for every single computer gamer.

Gamespot review:

Konami's Silent Hill series is known for two things: loads of creepy atmosphere and awkward, underdeveloped stories. Silent Hill 3, released on the PlayStation 2 earlier this fall, continues both these traditions by offering up a survival horror adventure that's long on eeriness and short on sense. Silent Hill 3 isn't so much about gameplay as it is about creating a disturbing world and immersing you in it, which is something it does very well.

First things first. Silent Hill 3 is enough to make you vomit--not because of the blood and gore, of which there's plenty, but because of the clunky controls and wild camera system. They're so awkward, disorienting, and motion sickness-inducing that there are many times when you'll want to quit the game in disgust. You get two basic camera/movement options. With one system, character movement is relative to the camera. In the other, movement is relative to the character's view. To further confuse matters, you can also look around rapidly, in a small arc, while holding down a particular key. Additionally, the game sometimes switches your view to draw your attention to something or to merely create a dramatic visual. What this all boils down to is that the camera is frequently pointing away from where you want to look. Oftentimes, an attacking creature--and sometimes even your character--is hidden from view. You can theoretically reorient the camera, but it's usually sluggish, or it simply won't move around properly in tight areas.

The movement controls were clearly designed with a gamepad in mind, though you can use the keyboard, albeit awkwardly. For added frustration, you have to engage a special "caution" mode before attacking enemies. When other third-person console games, like Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, get ported to the PC with smooth, easy controls and camera views, there's really no excuse for Silent Hill 3's problems to exist.

RACE_07-RELOADED

My personal review:

This is just one more racing game than properly a brand new experience. Graphics look sweet but apart from that, there isn't really much to be discovered and enjoyed, so please remember that when downloading or not this game below. I personally wasted too much time on this poor game.

Gamespot review:

Swedish development studio SimBin may be a small independent developer, but it has enjoyed a prolific rise to the top of the PC racing simulation market. To build on the success of its first outing, GTR, the studio enlisted the support of the World Touring Car Championship and created RACE: The WTCC Game, winning over critics and customers in the process. The sequel, RACE 07, expands the game even further, with new racing classes, such as Formula 3000, Radical sports cars, and even Minis. While the game is fundamentally similar to the previous game, particularly in the dated graphics engine, these new racing classes add considerably more depth to an already impressive package.

Just download it here if you want to:

Bet On Soldier Black Out Saigon

My little review:

One more FPS that can't simply compete with games like Crysis, but anyway, this game is also very interesting and amusing for some hours. Tough, after a while laying around you will probably get bored and won't continue playing, but until then it's just fun and enjoy! I hope you can get this game and also a great game experience.

Gamespot review:

Bet on Soldier is a sci-fi-themed first-person shooter that takes place in a crazy war-torn world where the primary form of televised entertainment is one-on-one gladiatorial battles that break out in the middle of an otherwise normal battle. While that might sound like just the sort of gameplay and plot hook that might drag in all of you people waiting patiently for a game based on The Running Man, Bet on Soldier is a collection of half-baked ideas wrapped in a buggy mess of an engine, and the end result is a very bad game, overall.

Overlord_Rising_Hell-HATRED

My personal review:

As a fan of RPG games, I can only recommend this average game which is set in a fictional but surreal world. You are given the choice to represent evil or holy and at the same time, you can really play a huge role in the story. The game is a bit repetitive and the graphics aren't the best although I still recommend it for the fans of the genre. Just play this game for pleasure and leave the repetition to your social life! Just enjoy my friends.

Gamespot review:

This is why you have minions, the scampering, mischievous little gremlins that are the heart and soul of Overlord. Though the game presents itself as a third-person action RPG where you control the overlord, it's more of a real-time strategy game. Either way, it's a very good-looking game, with the kinds of soft lighting and quaint high-fantasy settings that characterized Fable, though once you get past the aesthetics, it proves to have more in common with Nintendo's Pikmin games for the GameCube. Though you can perform some basic magic and melee attacks as the overlord, it's your minions that will be doing all your heavy lifting. The control scheme for Overlord is a little unusual, since you'll be controlling the overlord's movement as well as the minions'. The PC version offers both mouse-and-keyboard and dual-analog gamepad control schemes, and they're both totally useable, but they've both got their fair share of quirks.

Thankfully, the minions are generally pretty smart. They'll follow you around diligently, and if you take a route that they're unable to follow you on, they'll either stop in their tracks rather than commit hara-kiri, or find an alternate route. You can control your minions' movement directly by sweeping them around using either the right analog stick or the mouse, depending on which control scheme you've chosen. Alternately, you can lock onto certain objects, or simply point in a general direction, and your minions will head over there and perform the appropriate action. If the object can be smashed, they'll smash it. If it's an enemy, they'll attack it. If it's something they can use, such as a weapon or a piece of armor, they'll equip it. If it's gold, or a potion that restores health or mana, they'll bring it back to you. You'll also find lots of quest-specific items that require a team of minions to carry to specific locations, as well as various path-blocking obstacles. You can also command your minions to stay in a specific position, effectively guarding it.

Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth 2 iSO

My little review:

This is just one more game with the sigma of "lord of the rings" and another average one. As all the others it is set in the middle earth and you have the amazingly boring powers of a god in that age. I don't think that you will enjoy this game much and so I can't really recommend it to you, anyway, you can always download it below and try it. I hope you can enjoy the best of this game and that you can have a good time with it! Play it now...

Gamespot review:

With the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy more than two years in the past now, it seems a bit weird that EA is still pushing ahead with its Lord of the Rings game franchise. After all, 2004's The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-earth already covered all the ground from the movies. EA's solution, though, was to unify the movie franchise with the general Tolkien license, so now the games can feature content from both the movies and the many Middle-earth books that J.R.R. Tolkien wrote. Armed with this unified license, EA has gone about and created The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-earth II, a real-time strategy game that features all of Middle-earth, and not just the stuff we saw in the movies.

Battle for Middle-earth II focuses mainly on the northern part of Middle-earth, where elves, dwarves, and goblins battled it out while those pesky hobbits trekked to Mt. Doom. That means there are new races and factions that we didn't get to see in the original game, complete with their own heroes and specialized units. The elves are supreme archers, the dwarves are miners who build giant war machines, and the goblins rely on spiders and sheer numbers to swamp you. Battles take place in familiar places, such as the Shire, and in unfamiliar places, unless you've read the books, such as Dol Guldur. And if you liked the factions and settings from the original game, don't worry, because they all appear in the game's overarching War of the Ring mode in one form or another

Bioshock

My little review:

This game is awesome! And I am posting it because I found this amazingly good one link download, so you better get it before the link goes off-line. This is no sponsored post, so the link may look amazingly good but it is just one great found of entretenimentolivre.blogspot.com !
I hope you guys can enjoy this game as much as I did and that in the future you can remember it for ages to come. Enjoy this beauty my friends =D

Gamespot review:

BioShock opens with a bang, but the overall plot focuses more on making an emotional impact than an explosive one. The year is 1960, and you're flying over the Atlantic Ocean. One mysterious plane crash later, you're floating in the water, apparently the lone survivor, surrounded by the flaming wreckage of the aircraft. But there's a lighthouse on a tiny island just at the edge of your view. Who in their right mind would put a lighthouse this far out? You swim closer and discover a small submersible called a bathysphere waiting to take you underwater. After catching a breathtaking view of what's below, you're sent into the secret underwater city of Rapture. Masterminded by a somewhat megalomaniacal businessman named Andrew Ryan, this city is driven by its own idea of total freedom, with capitalism completely unhindered by governmental meddling and science unhinged from the pesky morals of organized religion. Sounds like the perfect society, right? Well, even before you step out of your bathysphere and into the city, it becomes obvious that everything has gone horribly wrong down here. The city is trashed, and genetic freaks called splicers roam around, attacking anything that gets in front of them. At the heart of the matter is a powerful, corrupting substance called ADAM, which makes all this genetic tinkering possible and allows you to get your first plasmid power, the ability to shoot lightning out of your fingertips.

Kane and Lynch: Dead Men

My personal review:

This is a very awaited game and it was indeed worth it! The final result of this new game is simply superb in what relates to gameplay and the graphics themselves. You take the role of a rubber who has to kill everyone who sees him in service and with a simple but interesting story, I am sure that this game will captivate your attention for some days. I bet you will be playing this game in the previous night of Christmas and that you will love to play it when you have some freetime. So go and grab it while you can my friend! =D

Gamespot review:

Currently scheduled for release toward the end of November, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is a game that we've seen an awful lot of over the past year or so. While covering the game throughout its development we've played through a number of the story-driven campaign missions, and earlier this month we were afforded our first look at its innovative "fragile alliance " competitive multiplayer mode. Until our latest meeting with Eidos, though, we had only ever seen Kane & Lynch running on the Xbox 360. Last week we had an opportunity to check out both the PC and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, and we played through a couple of previously unseen campaign levels in the process. Minor spoilers are included in this story.

The first new level we played through is titled Withdrawal, and will see you (as Kane) teaming up with Lynch and a "vault breaker" acquaintance to pull off a bank heist. The bank in question will also appear in the aforementioned fragile alliance mode, but the job is a little less straightforward in campaign mode. For starters, it's not even money that you're after, it's the contents of a safety-deposit box inside a well-guarded vault. In a gameplay sequence not wholly unlike something you might expect in one of IO Interactive's Hitman games, the team doesn't just shoot its way into the bank--rather, it quietly takes out a couple of security guards and then, after going in through the back door and finding a way up onto the roof, one of the guys dumps something into the bank's ventilation system to make everyone inside drowsy.

COMPANY OF HEROES:OPPOSING FRONTS

My personal review:

This game had some nice reviews in the newspapers and it wasn't just a lye, in fact this game rocks a bunch! It is amazing how real a game can be and this is one of the best examples of that. While it can't compete with games like Call of Duty 4, it is still a very good game and worth playing. This is the kind of game that is cool to play with your friends in the Christmas night that is coming. Just enjoy my friends because you won't have so much time soon. I hope you like it!

Gamespot review:

When Company of Heroes shipped last year, it proved that there's plenty of life in the World War II real-time strategy genre if companies take risks and innovate. THQ and Relic's superb real-time strategy game did that by blending in so many cutting-edge elements that it made the battlefield come alive like rarely before. Thanks to impressive artificial intelligence that made soldiers move and act like the real thing, as well as the tactical implications of a spectacular and fully destructible battlefield, Company of Heroes was a game that rewarded smart and quick thinking. With an excellent single-player campaign and thrilling multiplayer gameplay, it was also named GameSpot's 2007 PC Game of the Year. Now, just slightly a year after it was released, THQ and Relic have released Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, a fairly straightforward and satisfying follow-up that delivers more content for would-be Pattons to enjoy.
